The Arnold Place, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to displaced women and their children facing homelessness due to domestic violence, financial hardship, and other challenges. Additionally, we offer mentorship programs for school-age and teenage girls, support groups for various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, and illness, as well as tutoring programs and fresh produce from our on-site garden. Our founder and community leader, with over 25 years of experience in the housing industry, will lead the organization in offering financial literacy and homebuying programs to empower our clients.
Mission Statement: The Arnold Place, Inc. is committed to empowering women and children facing displacement and hardship by providing them with the necessary resources, support, and mentorship to rebuild their lives and achieve self-sufficiency.
Services Offered:
Resource Center: Providing essential resources and assistance to displaced women and their children, including housing assistance, job placement, childcare services, and access to community support networks.
Mentorship Programs: Pairing school-age and teenage girls with mentors to provide guidance, support, and encouragement in academic, personal, and professional development.
Support Groups: Offering safe and supportive spaces for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, illness, or other challenges to connect, share experiences, and receive emotional support.
Cancer Support Groups: Providing specialized support for women facing and surviving various types of cancer and other illnesses, offering encouragement, information, and resources.
Teen Pregnancy Support: Offering guidance, resources, and support for teenage mothers to navigate pregnancy, parenting, and future goals.
Tutoring Programs: Providing academic support and enrichment programs to help children and teenagers succeed in school and reach their full potential.
Fresh Produce from On-Site Garden: Offering nutritious fruits and vegetables grown on our property to promote healthy eating habits and food security among our clients.
