Welcome to The Arnold Place Inc., a nonprofit organization proudly serving our community since September 2014 with integrity, compassion, and respect. Our mission is to address critical needs related to hope, hunger, and homelessness, ensuring a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we successfully housed 14 families in fully furnished apartments, equipped with all essentials to help them rebuild after traumatic experiences such as domestic violence, sexual assault, financial hardship, or homelessness. Over the years, we’ve supported thousands of residents in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. area through our weekly free food giveaways, offering fresh vegetables, fruits, breads, and proteins.

Since 2016, we’ve also hosted an annual Christmas Drive, distributing toys, hats, gloves, and clothing to families in need. Our holistic approach to community support continues to create pathways for individuals to thrive.
We are thrilled to introduce our newest initiative: My Turn, My Home - 100 or More Women Homeownership Initiative 2025. This program reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering individuals to achieve stability and independence. Additionally, we’re proud to announce the opening of our new Resource Center, located in the heart of Prince George’s County, serving Maryland and Washington, D.C.
